Our Story
DTM Technologies was founded by Baholo Mokoena and operates out of Pimville, Soweto, Johannesburg. It began at the intersection of two disciplines that are rarely combined under one roof: hands-on technical delivery — writing bots, building AI applications, teaching Excel and SQL from the front of a training room — and the business development work of understanding what South African corporates actually need before a single line of code or a single slide is produced.
What started as one certified facilitator training small teams has grown into a company trusted by some of South Africa's largest banks, insurers, telecoms and media houses. The throughline hasn't changed: enterprise-grade ICT skills — the kind usually locked behind expensive institutional training providers — should be accessible, practical, and taught by someone who has actually built the systems being explained.
That vision now spans four pillars — corporate training, RPA and automation, AI-powered software, and the DTM Academy bootcamp — all delivered with the same standard of certified, accountable expertise.
